Like Logic Remote (Logic Remote on the App Store) it would be great if there came a iPad companion app that functions as a dedicated companion app for Bitwig. With transport controls, buttons for markers, a mixer screen, buttons screens with quick acces to (editing) functions, etc … Maybe even monitor mix screens per connected iPad/iPhone for musicians.
What problem(s) would this feature resolve?
Quick acces to features when playing live or while tracking and mixing or while not behind the computer but as a recording musician behind the drumkit or guitar rig.
How does this feature fit in Bitwig as a product?
Many people have iPads lying around. It would be great to get them to use. Many Bitwig users are musicians, it could be a great way to enhance their workflow. And when putting a iPad like a Softube Console tilted between the computer keyboard and computer monitor you can have a great touchcreen quick-editing extension to enhance your workflow and work less with a mouse.
Is there already an alternative way to achieve this on Bitwig?
Bitwig is famous for it’s remote control flexibility especially by the great work of DrivenbyMoss. But nothing dedicated made and well thought over as Logic and Logic Remote.
Could it be implemented using Bitwig components or APIs, without Bitwig team’s support?
