I think it’s a bit different. This FR is more about overall contrast. Even with improved constrast, I’d still get lost without distinguisable bar lines, because it would be still difficult to locate position within a bar.

I totally agree with the other request. I didn’t see that, I will give that a vote.
Ableton has a preference setting where you can the grid lines which is exactly what I want!
