Allow selection of the instrument used for MIDI file preview from the browser

In my version (Bitwig 6.0), it's not possible to specify the instrument to use for listening to a MIDI file from the global browser. A default, non-configurable synth is used, which is pointless, for example, for listening to a drum loop.

So I tried using the contextual browser, from a drum kit instrument, hoping that the MIDI file preview would use the current instrument. But no, it also uses a default synth that doesn't seem to have any configurability.

I therefore request the following improvements:
1) Add a parameter to the global browser that allows users to choose which instrument (from those loaded in the project) to use to play MIDI files.
2) In the contextual browser, use the current instrument (for example, a drum kit) to preview MIDI files.

Currently, I have to switch back to my old DAW (Cakewalk) for MIDI previewing. Not an optimal workflow.

For me, my thread isn’t a duplicate but rather a generalization of the topic, which doesn’t only concern drums.
