Optimize audio sidechain for less cpu

Compared to other DAWs, Bitwig requires a lot of CPU power when running multiple instances.
I really like using this technique because it quickly and effectively creates clarity in the mix.

I’ve tried different routings. Some work better, some cause more problems. The routing of a group cause more cpu than a single track. Why is that?

Routing within a group is, of course, difficult. So I don’t want to talk about the usefulness of routing. The tests were designed so that the side chain signal was used in another instrument from a different group. Routing via sendfx channels is relatively unproblematic.

Does anyone have any other solutions to this issue?

I think this belongs in general discussion, rather than FR. the only thing to request here is some way of hinting if similar routing possible with more parallel threaded processing, thus more CPU efficient.
if you’re routing from group, this causes a choke point, where processing is serialized instead of having it in parallel. and when you use sends, it doesn’t create any choke points as signal being received on FX track on next buffer, apparently. it’s all synched up though.
