Add an option to enable metronome click only when recording is enabled.
I want to enable the metronome and hear it when recording only, not when playing back.
What problem(s) would this feature resolve?
Repeatedly enabling and disabling the metronome is poor UX.
How does this feature fit in Bitwig as a product?
Bitwig offers a metronome, and a myriad of metronome options except for this one!
Is there already an alternative way to achieve this on Bitwig?
Click to disable and reenable the metronome.
Could it be implemented using Bitwig components or APIs, without Bitwig team’s support?
No.
Could it be provided by a VST or something else reasonably integrated with Bitwig?
No.
Are there other products that offer this feature?
All other DAWs? Logic, Cubase, Live…
