I think it’s about time we get a Logic modulator, similar to Math modulator, but for logic comparisons between 2 inputs. Do we really need to reach for Grid every time such component needed? Seems a waste not to have this as modulator.
The options should be: =, ≠, <, ≤, ≥, >, AND, OR, XOR, NAND, NOR, XNOR, with ‘Rough compare/Exact’ as option in inspector panel.
What problem(s) would this feature resolve?
Avoiding having to use Grid for many use cases. Grid is cool, but heavy and shouldn’t be used for every little thing.
Is there already an alternative way to achieve this on Bitwig?
Maybe you could somehow combine different modulators to achieve functionality of this, but it’s convoluted solution that isn’t much better than using Grid, which is not what you want for simple operations.
