Audio preview triggers when highlighting notes

The Piano Roll would benefit substantially if the audio preview triggered when a user selects / highlights a note or group of notes. This is useful for drafting chord progressions as you can surgically preview pieces of chord rapidly to hone in on the notes you actually want. What problem(s) would this feature resolve?
