A request for AUv3 support. There are many excellent plugins like Beat Cutter by Igor Vasiliev, Drambo by Beep Street, Moog AUv3s and many others.
Ableton Live, Logic and Reaper all support AUv3 but Bitwig’s deep modulation would take these instruments to a whole other level.
What problem(s) would this feature resolve?
Mobile creations on AUv3 apps such as Drambo could be completed inside of Bitwig. Many creative sound design sessions must start on an iPad and then exported into Bitwig due to no AUv3 support.
How does this feature fit in Bitwig as a product?
Broadens Bitwig’s available plugins significantly, and there are many sound design-oriented AUv3 that would benefit greatly from Bitwig’s deep modulation.
Is there already an alternative way to achieve this on Bitwig?
Possibly using a commercial plugin wrapper such as Blue Cat Audio PatchWork or DDMF Metaplugin
Could it be implemented using Bitwig components or APIs, without Bitwig team’s support?
