Added Insert Cue marker saving function

This feature can help new musicians improve their arrangement skills and mixing skills.

How does this feature fit in Bitwig as a product?

This function can quickly save the Insert Cue markers that have been set. After opening a new project, you can also choose to save the Insert Cue markers set in the library to arrange music. For example, when I am composing music, I often don’t know how to proceed with the next section, so I can refer to the Insert Cue markers I have saved to increase my inspiration. You can also add artificial intelligence based on this function. For example, if I throw an existing song into my DAW, the DAW will automatically help me segment the song, analyze the tonality, bpm and other data. The data can be placed on the top to save the information and segmentation of the song, and you can also directly compare it with your own songs for AB comparison and mixing reference.

Is there already an alternative way to achieve this on Bitwig?

As far as I can see, daw doesn’t seem to have this function

About your wish. Do you mean that you would like to create a set of cue markers on a project that could then be reused in other projects? If so, have you considered creating a template or an empty project where you have set those cue markers? Then, every time you start a new project you would create it from that template or empty project, and the cue markers would be already there.
