For the first time, we have been able to resolve a feature request thanks to an answer from the Bitwig team:

Undo support for third-party plug-ins

@here The Bitwig team has answered and we have enough information to resolve this feature request: In short: Bitwig cannot offer a reliable Undo feature to plugin developers because the VST standard doesn’t support this feature. In practice, plugin developers need to implement the Undo functionality for their own plugins.
